Do You Know

Do you know where you're going to?
Do you like the things that
life is showing you
Where are you going to?
Do you know...?
Do you get
What you're hoping for
When you look behind you
There's no open door
What are you hoping for?
Do you know...?
Once we were standing still in time
Chasing the fantasies
That filled our minds
You knew how I loved you
But my spirit was free
Laughin' at the questions
That you once asked of me
Do you know where you're going to?
Do you like the things that
life is showing you
Where are you going to?
Do you know...?
Now looking back at
all we've planned
We let so many dreams
Just slip through our hands
Why must we wait so long
Before we'll see
How sad the answers
To those questions can be
Do you know where you're going to?
Do you like the things that
life is showing you
Where are you going to?
Do you know...?
Do you get
What you're hoping for
When you look behind you
There's no open door
What are you hoping for?
Do you know...?

Sumptin To Say:
Many thoughts and interpretations come to mind with this post.... For fear of misreading the intended meaning, I will just say "thank you so very, very, very, very, very much for sharing, Piano man" ;-)

I'm here for you, friend.

I'm asking this not expecting or even wanting an answer just that you ask it of yourself, but why did you move? You're not happy and that's not good.

I love that song
brings back memories

CHANGE IS HARD. BUT THIS IS NOT YOUR FIRST NOR WILL IT BE YOUR LAST. JUST CONTINUE TO GROW AN BE THAT PHENOMENAL WOMAN THAT YOU ARE.

Curious: I moved to be around family. I moved because I thought I needed change. And even though I am going thru one of the most difficult times in my life right now...I know that at some point...the clouds will clear and the sun will shine...and I will have lived through this.
But I am still lost...until I come up with a plan...and a plan can't be formulated until I have sifted thru ALL of what I have experienced since I have been here.
I just have to gather the energy at this point.
And that my friend is where I am...stuck on the floor...trying to get up to answer the door...'cause believe me when I say, I do hear those that love me knocking.

Kim: Thank you.
