Nikki is irreplaceable. I used to tell her that she reminded me of Toni Morrison and she laughed at me. But I meant it, cause Toni is hard to read and at times, so was Nikki ... I always had to re-read before it actually sunk in. Maybe I'm just slow ...

I saw the comments on FBook and had the reaction that it wasnt Nikki...the fabulous blogger, Nikki...with so many unfinished cliffhanger stories left to tell...that strong spirit and amazing talent...but I guess it is. Wow. Rest in Peace, you are missed deeply.
